Product Description: 
DIAPHRAGM BACKUP - 1.5" (40-037) is a heavy-duty reinforcement component designed for a 1½-inch (40mm) air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump.

About the Product: 
Installed in pairs (two per pump) within the wet-side chambers between the inner and outer diaphragm plates. Acts as the mechanical "driver" positioned behind the primary diaphragm to provide the necessary flexibility and force for reciprocating motion.
