Diaphragm Backplate (Part No. 1A-007) is a critical structural component used in Blagdon AODD pumps. It serves as a rigid support for the diaphragm, ensuring even pressure distribution and preventing damage during the pump's reciprocating cycles.

About the Product: 
In an AODD pump, the backplate is secured to the diaphragm shaft and sits behind the flexible diaphragm. Its primary role is to provide a solid surface for the air pressure to act against, forcing the diaphragm forward to discharge liquid without causing the material to deform or tear.
